Celebrate NAM's reopening and Valentine's Day on Feb. 12

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I thought I would take my first week on the blog job to pass along information about unique places to take your sweetheart(s) as well as some interesting gift ideas. We have many, many great businesses and organizations in our Cy-Fair community that have a lot to offer!
Northwest Assistance Ministries' is inviting the community to celebrate the Grand Re-opening of its Community Resale Store at 10505 Jones Road (at Fallbrook) and Valentine's Day with a Sweetheart of a Sale" on Friday, Feb. 12 from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
The store sells gently-used clothing, shoes, furniture, home dcor, books, and other household items. Proceeds benefit NAM's programs and services.
The heart of the holiday will be honored with special promotions throughout the day, including Valentine's refreshments and a drawing for a door prize at 4:00 p.m. Customers will earn one door prize ticket for every $5 spent that day at the store. The prize is a Valentine's gift basket donated by HEB Vintage Park.
Throughout the year donations may be dropped off at NAM's main office at 15555 Kuykendahl, at the store at 10505 Jones Rd., and at the store at 3645 FM 1960. Furniture pick-ups may also be scheduled by calling 281-880-9482.
