Langham Creek grad Hollins contributes to Trinity victory
Langham Creek High School graduate Taylor Hollins scored six points in a 75-62 home win by Trinity University (Texas) over conference rival Centenary (Louisiana) on Sunday, Feb. 3 at Sams Gymnasium in San Antonio, the Trinity website reported.
Hollins also recorded three rebounds for the Tigers, who improved to 17-4 on the season and 11-0 in conference.
Trinity's next game is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at home against Southwestern (Tex.).
Hollins, a native of Houston, is a freshman guard for Trinity University (Texas). She is a 2012 graduate of Langham Creek High School, where she was on the honor roll all four years, on Academic All-District for three years, MVP in 2008 and 2011, and was named to the second Team All-District, First Team All-District and National Honor Society. She was team captain at Langham Creek in 2011.
