Jersey Village grad Salazar plays in McMurry loss
Jersey Village High School graduate Tory Salazar scored eight points in McMurry University's 65-54 loss to Oklahoma Christian University on Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Eagles' Nest in Oklahoma City, McMurry's website reported.
Salazar also recorded two steals for the War Hawks, who are 8-12 on the season.
McMurry's next game is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at Texas A & M International University.
Salazar is a junior guard for McMurry University. She is a 2010 graduate of Jersey Village High School, where she was named team captain and first-team all-district as a senior. The accounting major is from Houston and is the daughter of David and Olga Salazar.
