Area schools vying for a share of $20K as part of Willowbrook Mall's My School is Cool program
Fourteen area schools are vying for a share of $20,000 in cash prizes that will be awarded as part of Willowbrook Mall's My School is Cool program for the 2012-13 school year, it was recently announced.
According to a press release, "Participating schools earn points for My School is Cool by shopping at Willowbrook Mall. The points are tallied toward the end of the school year with awards going to the schools with the most points. As of late January, the five schools with the most points are Cook Middle School, Farney Elementary School, Goodman Elementary School, Reed Elementary School and Campbell Middle School."
"We launched the 2012-13 year competition Aug. 1 and schools have been steadily submitting their receipts for points since then," said Diana Elkins, marketing manager for Willowbrook Mall, according to the release. "Cook Middle School is our top point earner right now, but its a close race and several schools are oh so close to being in the top five. Good luck to everyone."
Willowbrook Mall is at 2000 Willowbrook Mall, Houston.
