38 Cypress runners complete Rhythm and Blues Half Marathon

A total of 38 Cypress athletes completed the Rhythm and Blues Half Marathon on Sunday, Feb. 10 in Houston.

Race organizers said 1,066 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended at Sam Houston Park.

Benjamin Zywicki, of The Woodlands, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:11:54, while Catherine Kruppa, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:32:19.
