Wrestler aims to be in mixed martial arts

Q: Who is your favorite athlete?
A: GSP (George St. Pierre). I've seen him train, and I've seen the way he is before fights. I've actually done a couple of amateur fights myself because I want to be a UFC fighter. He's kind of like my role model.
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: If I can get a scholarship for wrestling, I'll go to any school that recruits me. But if I don't get that, I want to go to the Marines first, then after the Marines, go out and fight (mixed martial arts).
Q: How do you prepare for matches?
A: I'm a Christian, and I believe that it's not just me out there. I read a couple of Scriptures before. At tournaments, specifically, I'm there to do well for my team because it's a team sport, but once you're out on the mat, you're alone, you know?
