Stay Safe school does driver's ed, outreach
Stay Safe Driving School, founded in 2004, teaches more than just driver's education. Its educators teach life skills. They employ a space management system, and they also use a technique called commentary driving. The staff focuses on skills in many different situations, such as tire blowouts, evasive maneuvers and skidding. "Our main goal is the safety of our students while they are on the road," said co-owner Debbie Callahan. Clients can take face-to-face or online classes.
