Langham Creek grad Hollins contributes to Trinity victory
Langham Creek graduate Taylor Hollins played for Trinity University (Texas) in an 86-57 win at home over conference rival Colorado College on Friday, Feb. 15 at Sams Gymnasium in San Antonio, the Trinity website reported.
Hollins recorded one rebound for the Tigers, who improved to 20-4 on the season and 14-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Trinity University (Texas)'s next game is Friday, Feb. 22.
Hollins, a native of Houston, is a freshman basketball player for Trinity University (Texas). She is a 2012 graduate of Langham Creek High School, where she was on the honor roll all four years, on Academic All-District for three years, MVP in 2008 and 2011, and was named to the second Team All-District, 1st Team All-District and National Honor Society. She was team captain at Langham Creek in 2011.
