Cy-Ridge grad Colas plays in Alfred loss

Cy-Ridge High School graduate Gerald Colas contributed seven points in Alfred University's 67-55 home loss to conference rival Stevens Institute of Technology on Friday, Feb. 15 at McLane Center in Alfred, N.Y., Alfred's website reported.

The junior center and the Saxons are 6-18 on the season.

Alfred's next game is Friday, Feb. 22 in the Empire 8 Championships semifinals.

Colas played at Cypress Ridge in 2005-09, where he was a Third-Team All-District selection in 2008-09. He is the son of Gerald Sr. and Romona Colas.
