LSC-CyFair to present 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' on March 1-3
Lone Star College-CyFair will present "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" from Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 3.
According to a press release from the school, "Lone Star College-CyFair's Drama Department kicks off the spring season with the Tony Award-winning musical comedy 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' on stage March 1-3. This is a hilarious tale of overachievers angst, chronicling the experience of a quirky yet charming cast of adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime and for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time."
Performances, set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 3 and 3 p.m. Sunday, March 3, will be held in the Main Stage Theatre in the Center for the Arts building at 9191 Barker Cypress Road.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors.
