Go Red for Women luncheon set for March 1

The annual Northwest Harris County Go Red for Women luncheon, sponsored by the American Heart Association, will be held Friday, March 1 at Crowne Plaza Houston Northwest in Houston.

The event will run from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

According to a press release from the American Heart Association, "This event focuses on educating women on the prevention of heart disease and stroke while living a healthy lifestyle. Proceeds will go toward the fight against the No. 1 and No. 4 killers of women, heart disease and stroke. Admission is $100 per ticket."

The Crowne Plaza Houston Northwest is at 12801 Northwest Freeway, Houston.
