Soccer star hopes for ‘beautiful’ season

A: Steven Gerrard of Liverpool. He's got great leadership qualities, and he's really a humble guy. He never likes to brag, and he's always talking about his team.

Q: Who inspires you the most?
A: Probably my dad. He worked hard his whole life. He inspires me to fulfill my dreams and reach my goals.
Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: Our first goal is to make playoffs and hopefully win district. But really, making the playoffs. I just want to do my best to help the team meet its goals.
Q: What is your favorite part of playing soccer?
A: I enjoy soccer because anything can happen. It's the beautiful game. You can never underestimate anybody.
