Cy Creek grad Tucker contributes to Sam Houston State victory
Cy Creek High School graduate Zoe Tucker played for Sam Houston State University in a 64-50 win at home over conference rival Stephen F. Austin State University on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the Johnson Coliseum in Huntsville, Sam Houston State's website reported.
The junior guard recorded five rebounds and one assist for the Bearkats, who improved to 14-12 on the season and 10-4 in the Southland Conference.
Sam Houston's next game is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at home against Nicholls State University.
Tucker is a 2010 graduate of Cy Creek High School. She was named All-District twice and led her team to the state playoffs.
