Cy Ridge grad Swannegan plays in Tulsa loss
Cy Ridge High School graduate Brandon Swannegan scored four points in the 72-63 loss by the University of Tulsa's to conference rival East Carolina University on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the Reynolds Center in Tulsa, the team's website reported.
Swannegan also recorded two rebounds, two assists and one block for the Golden Hurricanes, who are 14-12 on the season and 6-6 in conference.
Tulsa's next game is 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at the University of Central Florida.
Swannegan is a freshman forward for University of Tulsa. He is a 2012 graduate of Cy Ridge High School, where he was a two-year letter winner and starter, with a per-game average of 16 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks. The mechanical engineering major is from Houston and is the son of Clarence Swannegan and Daisy Taylor.
