Harris Health System's Pediatric, Adolescent Health Center receives Southwest Region Award

Harris Health Systems Pediatric and Adolescent Health Center Cypress received the Southwest Region Award of Excellence, it was recently announced.

The company received the award in job order contracting.

According to a Harris Health Systems Pediatric and Adolescent Health Center Cypress press release, "The Harry H. Mellon Awards are sponsored by The Gordian Group as the construction industry's highest honors recognizing excellence in the use of job order contracting for the repair, alteration, maintenance or construction of buildings. Regional winners were chosen from 52 entries submitted by contractors, building consultants, and local, state and federal facility owners from the United States. Job order contracting is a competitively bid procurement process that owners use to fast-track repair and alteration projects based on locally priced construction tasks and competitively awarded contracts."
