North Cypress Medical Center recognized for patient care

North Cypress Medical Center has received the Women's Choice Award from WomenCertified distinguishing it as one of the 2013 best hospitals for patient experience heart care.

According to a press release from the center, the award is based on female patient satisfaction measurements as well as clinical excellence. Hospitals qualify for this annual list based on an in-depth proprietary scoring process.

The announcement was made Friday, Feb. 8.

The North Cypress Medical Center is an acute-care hospital located at at 21214 Northwest Freeway in Cypress. It has 175 beds and offers cardiology care, emergency care, orthopedics, cancer care and more. All hospital rooms are private and have bathrooms, televisions and wireless Internet. The hospital also provides community screenings, seminars and support groups. Its CEO is Robert A. Behar.
