1 charged in fatal northwest Harris Co. wreck

A man was charged with intoxication manslaughter after the sheriff's office said he caused a crash that killed a woman early this morning in northwest Harris County.
Thomas Boyd drank alcohol before he ran his Dodge Ram truck into the right side of a vehicle in which Christa Rodriguez was a passenger at the 8500 block of northbound Texas 6, according to the sheriff's office.
A witness said Boyd's truck was speeding without any headlights on, authorities said.
