Cy-Fair ISD at state wrestling meet

Thirteen Cy-Fair ISD wrestlers have qualified for the Class 5A state wrestling meet on Friday and Saturday at the Delco Center in Austin.
Cy Woods has three boys in the event in Phillip Alva (135), Alex Samia (171) and Josh Morrison (189).
Cy Creek also has two boys going to state in Jordan McAleavey (135) and Georg Woods (285), Cy-Fair has one (Nicolas Yapp, 140) and Langham Creek has one (Trevor Hadley, 180).
Cy Falls also has three girls who qualified for state in Amber Stokes (128), Ashlea Ramirez (165) and Mikayla Matthews (185).
Cy Lakes' Angelica Torres (95), Cy Ridge's Adrienne Do (95) and Cy Ridge's Jasmine Haywood (215) also will compete at state.
