Get Rudy's barbecue for 32 cents

In celebration of Texas Independence Day, Rudy's Country Store" and Bar-B-Q today announced that it will offer its customers at participating locations a chance to purchase a quarter pound of its famous brisket for 32 cents on March 2nd from 2 pm to 4 pm (local store time). The 32 cents collected within the special offer hours will then be donated directly to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.
In addition, Rudy's will reinstate its popular Follow2Support campaign, where a donation of 50 cents will be added to the collection for each new Twitter follower and Facebook fan. In time for Texas Independence Day, Rudy's is celebrating its Texas heritage with this rollback price for our customers, at the same time, help those who are affected by the tragedy in Haiti," said Pete Bassett, Vice President of Operations at Rudy's Bar-B-Q. Rudy's decided to rollback prices to 32 cents to commemorate the date, March 2nd (3/2), which was the date the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed. The special offer is limited to one per customer and only available at participating Rudy's locations. Rudy's recommends customers to arrive early as the special hours will begin promptly at 2 pm.
