Rudy's Country Store" briskets benefit Haiti relief
I have been hearing great things about Rudy's for several months now, but have not yet had the pleasure of sampling what I have heard is excellent barbecue. But, on March 2 there is no way I will pass by the Rudy's on the U.S. 290 (east of the Beltway 8 intersection) without buying a brisket!!
On March 2 from 2-4 p.m., Rudy's locations will be selling briskets at 32-cents-per-pound in celebration of the day the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed.
Better yet, each 32-cent payment received will be donated to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund as well as 50 cents for every new Twitter follower - http://twitter.com/rudysbbq - and Facebook fan - http://facebook.com/rudysbbq - that joins now through March 2.
A quote from Rudy's:
In time for Texas Independence Day, Rudy's is celebrating its Texas heritage with this rollback price for our customers, at the same time, help those who are affected by the tragedy in Haiti." said Pete Bassett, Vice President of Operations at Rudy's Bar-B-Q. This is our way of saying thank you to the Texas communities we serve."
Be ready on March 2 as the 32-cent offer is limited to one per customer at this Rudy's at 14620 Northwest Freeway. Call 713-462-3337 for more information.
Enjoy great barbecue for a vital cause!
