New Pizza Inn opens on 16010 West Road

From a press release:
Pizza Inn, Inc. (NASDAQ:PZZI), an international pizza chain recognized for serving a variety of fresh, high quality products at affordable prices, has announced the opening of its newest buffet-style restaurant at 16010 West Road in Houston, on March 8.
For more than 50 years, Pizza Inn has provided consumers with a variety of specialty and traditional handcrafted pizzas, pastas, salads and desserts in a dine-in buffet format with delivery and carryout. The company popularized a unique thin crackery crust that is made from scratch daily and has since become the signature product offering. Over the years the menu has expanded, but the company's commitment to the highest quality ingredients, the friendliest service and affordable pricing have remained unchanged.
As we continue to grow our brand in various markets across the country, we are thrilled to increase our freshly made pizzas, pastas and other popular menu items in Houston," said Charlie Morrison, CEO of Pizza Inn. We are confident that the local residents are just as excited as we are about Pizza Inn's addition to the area."
The newest Houston restaurant is owned by Sunny Sharma, a local entrepreneur who previously owned a different Pizza Inn location in the Houston marketplace. With more than 20 restaurants currently open and operating in the area, the newest location will focus on delivery and carryout options.
What truly makes Pizza Inn stand out is the variety of high-quality menu items we offer at such great value prices," said Sharma. As a former Pizza Inn franchisee I am familiar with the great products and excellent services guests have celebrated for more than 50 years. I'm looking forward to rejoining the franchisee team and once again serving patrons everything they've come to love about Pizza Inn for the past five decades."
In an effort to further increase national and regional growth, Pizza Inn is seeking single and multi-unit franchisees, as well as area developers in select regions of the country. As a result, Pizza Inn recently launched a development incentive program to entice franchisees otherwise discouraged by the current credit market. The incentive program offers a 50 percent reduction in the initial Franchise Fee from $25,000 to only $12,500, and a 50 percent reduction in royalties (from four percent to two percent) during the first two years of operation. This incentive applies to new construction of U.S. buffet restaurants only.
