Cy-Fair Idol Paige Miles makes Top 12!!
She did it! Our Paige Miles made the American Idol Top 12!"
As I mentioned before, I am not an Idol-watcher (though that has changed since Paige made the stage!), so I am only going on a close friend's word that making it to this point is a BIG DEAL!
My standard background paragraph: Paige Miles, 24, is a Florida native, she lives and works in Cypress. She came to our great community after graduating high school six years ago. She lives in Fairfield and, before following her dream to Hollywood, worked in a before- and after-school care program at Shepherd United Methodist Church.
I'll be honest and say that I am not sure the song she sang this week - Smile" by Nat King Cole/Tony Bennett was my favorite pick of the girls' night, but you cannot beat her voice. I want to hear her belt out something strong and edgy next week. I heard it was Rolling Stones" week that'll work for her!
Which brings me to next week's schedule performance - tune in to KRIV Fox channel Tuesday, March 16 at 7 p.m. and then as soon as they give the green light.VOTE, VOTE, VOTE for Paige!!!
