Spring Break Sunday at St. Patrick's Day Parade

Though I am officially taking a Spring Break" this week with my family, I am staying home and thought I might post stay-cation" photos that show what a great time you can have in your own backyard.
Henry and I had a GREAT time Sunday at the 32nd annual Northwest Houston St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was his first time viewing the floats from the edge of FM 1960 and the mood was quite festive.
Here is a photo of him shouting for beads while a shamrock-filled contraption floated by.
I applaud the parade committee for putting this together. My kid loved the floats (particularly the fire trucks), and the whole set-up was safe and fun.
We stayed until the very end because Henry had to see the dump trucks that followed the parade and cleaned up, and the police cars that came by to open up traffic on FM 1960.
We will definitely be back next year!!!
